Write for us

Stellar Arts Journal welcomes original pitches that help general readers look more closely at visual art, understand a creative choice or find a thoughtful way into making.

What we welcome

Pitch an evergreen piece about looking, materials, making, art history or interpretation. Strong proposals have a precise question, a clear reader benefit and a scope that can be handled without invented first-hand experience, specialist credentials or claims that need unsupported certainty.

What makes a pitch work

Explain the central idea, why it suits Stellar Arts Journal and how you would develop it. Mention relevant sources or examples you expect to use, flag any uncertainties and tell us whether the idea is original and unpublished. Avoid broad surveys, promotional copy and claims that every artwork has a single hidden meaning.

How to send it

Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial question option. Include a short summary and enough detail to show the piece's shape; a complete draft is not necessary unless requested. Do not send confidential or sensitive material.
