Editorial policy

Stellar Arts Journal aims to make art writing clear, considered and useful to general readers. We explain our reasoning, distinguish observation from interpretation and correct material errors openly.

Accuracy and context

We check names, dates, terminology and contextual claims against suitable sources before publication. When a point is uncertain, contested or dependent on interpretation, we say so rather than presenting it as settled fact. We do not invent quotations, experiences or supporting details.

Independence and partnerships

Editorial decisions are made separately from commercial proposals. Partner material and paid placements are clearly labelled where they appear, so readers can tell when content is promotional. A partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.

Corrections

If a published piece contains a factual error, readers can report it through the Contact page. We review credible correction requests and amend errors with a clear note where appropriate; changes to wording that do not alter the substance may not need a correction notice.

Illustrations

Some illustrations may be AI-generated. Where this applies, the illustration is identified as such. Illustrations are not presented as documentary evidence of an artwork, artist or historical event.
